Anybody sporting the retractable boards? How reliable have they been?

My dad has them on his truck and goes between 100+ texas heat to freezing colorado cold and snow and ice and they still work just like the first day hes had them over a year.

Sounds like they've been good, at least in the short run.

Anybody wire them up so they can be disabled? I can envision them dropping down in some circumstances where you might prefer they stay up? Like straddling a log or something when offroad.

Does anyone have a wiring schematic for the AMP running boards?? I would like to use the information interface with the truck??

Thanks, I have the manual, I need the wiring schematic. On the ford system it has wires for motor Hall-effect sensors. I wanted to know if the AMP system had the same sensors and or wires??
