I have the 5100’s. Yes, they reuse the stock spring and add lift by basically increasing preload plus the change in compression angle, but I disagree with the earlier comment of it being rough. It’s not rough, but more “solid” than stock. I set mine at the 1.75” setting or something very close to it. And I agree on the comment of not going over 2”. Ford engineers didn’t design around drivetrain angles like what you get with 2”+ front lift. The truck no longer sways in corners and feels like more of a....truck. For me personally, the ride is dramatically better than stock. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these options but the spacers definitely leave a lot to be desired outside of their cheap cost. I like the idea of upgrading shocks all around because the stock units are quite poor, but I guess I’m a bit torn on the idea of spending 1k+ just to get a 2” level...

Thread is a little old but can anyone tell me if you need an alignment shim when going from stock 1 1/4" block to 2" block in the rear. 2018 RCSB with Fox coil over up front set at 2" lift. Truck sits level, trying to get back a little rake.

No shim needed. If you are removing a flat block then replace with a flat block. I installed 3” non tapered block a month ago and have zero issues or vibrations at any speed.
