2010 4.6L 3V Performance Exhaust
Thanks for taking the time to read my thread.
I have a 2010 Ford F150 STX, 2WD, with the 4.6L 3V engine. My current exhaust setup is true duals, with stock cats, to x-pipe that is a little after my the middle of my truck, out 45 degrees behind rear wheels. Now I was doing research and it showed the x-pipe has no effect unless it is closer to the cats/manifold.
Also, when I first got the exhaust system done, the truck felt like it had a lot more low end torque, but it doesn't feel that way now. Possible because I put heavier, wider tires in the back. Also the truck does not have a tune.
I want to find the loudest performance exhaust for my truck but their are barely any dyno/custom exhaust shops near me. The nearest one charges and arm and a leg to run it on the dyno 3 times.
