Default 1st time truck owner - nerf bars

Hi Guys

just go myself a new 2107 F-150 XL supercab. looking ofr some nerf bars that will do 2 things:
  1. make it easier to get in and out
  2. make sure careless people in parking lots ding their doors on my nerf bars instead of paint

So I need bars the stick out beyond the widest part of the doors

I'm not sure of i get ones with a separate step (e.g. Havoc HS2) or just the oval ones with a flat spot and rubber.

Any recommendations on width?

TIA

Mark

Just a thought one you might like would be the ICI magnum step bars. They have a good wide step pad and surface that should keep any would be door dinger from hitting your pretty paint job!

I would suggest N-fab, but they don't have the largest of step pad. Another you might consider is the Westin HDX?

We've got an overstock on them right now so if they happen to be something that interest you feel free to message us!

Hope that helps!

They say between 300-400 lbs. The nice thing about the ICI steps is that it mounts to the pinch weld and the rocker panel underneath without any holes needing to be drilled!

Another idea is to get GoRhino Dominator D4 steps which actually have TWO stepping spots. The new D6 steps also can have two stepping spots.
