HI All,

as owner of 2015 Plati with problem sunroof I am concerned about getting Raptor with it. most trucks that are available has Sunroof.

has it been fixed in raptor? specifically rattle and leaking? Mine does not leak but rattle drives me crazy. 3 times in the shop already with no progress.

 

no leaks or rattle on mine. just a slight wind whistle at speeds.

 

Mine is perfect with 300 miles on it

 

question is.. has Ford actually fixed something.. or it's just to new to start rattle.. Mine cam on at about 5k miles

 

I've got 3500 miles on mine. No issues so far....

 

They have not fixed it, but there is a bulletin out for 15-16s but not 17s

I have a 2015 with the double roof that has been problem free, barely a drip even under high pressure car washes

I had to walk away from my Raptor delivery, as there was way too much water entry - awaiting one with no roof now, which is a shame since I do like the extra glass

I think some there's good and bad ones out there, problem is Raptor is limited so don't have the ability to test many different ones

 

A Raptor doesn`t need that huge sunroof.

If a Raptor is really used like it`s capable of, i`m sure it`s only a matter of time before the sunroof starts to rattle or leak.
