Default Royal purple ATF

I have a 2014 raptor. I was wondering if anybody out there has change their tranny fluid and used royal purple ATF. If so how was it working for you are there any drawbacks or should I stick with a Ford brand?

All about certifications. If it (Royal Purple) has the correct certs. then there should be no issues.

For me, just can't see a reason not to use the Motorcraft ATF. No guessing and it's what came in your truck to begin with. Why take a chance on having an issue?

I have ran Royal purple in my 2002 530 Msport (6 speed) and it made the manual much smoother. I would use it with no issue
