Default ProCharger for the 6.2

So twice now I have requested information from ProCharger about a SC for my 6.2L. I even left off this last time that it was a LL saying it was a 6.2 Lariat. Twice now they have sent a letter saying that there us no application available for my truck.

My question is this. If they make it for a Raptor 6.2 what is the difference between it and a Lariat Limited? I realize the tires, maybe gears (not sure what your ratio is), I am pretty sure we run the same transmission.

I am thinking of giving them a call as well and getting information from the horses mouth. I just wanted to hear what the Raptor guys think prior to calling.

Thanks in advance for any info.

find a local raptor owner or on the lot and pop the hoods side by side. possible overflow coolant, coolant lines, etc are routed or placed differently.

Sure. All easy and cheap enough to reroute all that though. I did see where the Raptor has 4:10's though. That would be an easy enough disclaimer on their part.

just because you and I would find them easy to reroute doesn't mean they just havent had a LL in their possession to work the kinks out for a kit. gears mean absolutely nothing to them as a manufacturer. All they care about is the engine/compartment.

I live about 3 hours from them. Maybe if I drive on down there they will give me one for free so they can sell it to the other 3699 LL owners in the states.

^ Sarcasm by the way.

I know you know that jcain, just wanted to make it clear before somebody else flamed me for being an idiot.

If I bought a Raptor "designed" ProCharger I can't see any implications with putting it in my LL. I also have no experience with engine mods prior to my LL purchase. It would probably negate the ATI warranty on the SC though. Not like warranty is something I am concerned with after dropping one in my truck.

it's probably more to do with the routing of a2a IC piping because of the different front end measurements and bumpers etc.

You ever post something and then get a response and say to yourself, "I am a moron"? Thanks for that. ;-)
