Default New Raptor ???

I am looking at getting rid of my 09 F350 ccsb and picking up a 11 Raptor screw. With all the new diesel emissions i think I am done with diesels. I am looking to see if anyone has pics of 18"- 20" wheels on there raptors, And those of you who went from a diesel to the 6.2l gas how do you like it? thanks

As I have opined before in a couple of other threads.....

20" wheels and skinny profile tires on a Raptor is oxymoranic (contradiction).

Why do you think it comes from the factory with 17's?

Having said that, I am sure somewhere out there in the USA, is a Raptor with 20's or even 22's, cruising the 'Boulevard' in the big city; never to see a dirt road or mountain trail.

Why would 20's look bad on a Raptor? It's called 35's. Now if they were 33's then there would be room to talk, but 20" rims with 35" tires aren't bad.

20's with 35's would look sick on a raptor and still perform off road. It's a baja truck not a crawler so it would do just fine. But I think the OEM wheels look perfect.

I've heard nothing but good things about the 6.2. Obviously it won't have the torque you're use to but I'm sure you'll like it.

Yea go power is not a problem with the 6.2. Put a 5 Star tune on it and unleash the beast.

Isn't Ford trying to re-shape the Raptor image into a crawler as well as a high speed 4-wheeler? It seems that almost ALL the new ads and videos coming out show the raptor in trail settings with trees and mud or slowly going up a rock face of some sort...

The truck does very well on the trails. The only hold back are the A/T's. If I had some good M/T's I would have never gotten stuck at all. I'll have a set soon.

For a Raptor the 17"'s are great. 18"'s are good also. 20" wheels do not make any sense. If you have a FX4, my personal favorite, and have a 6" lift on it, then 20" wheels with 44" rubber might be ok.
