So I downloaded the app. I have the 802A package which includes the sync connect. I entered the vin number and it says go to vehicle, start it up and select the number that pops up on the touchscreen. Well, nothing came up and the phone just locked in waiting for activation.

Any clue what I'm doing wrong?

Yes. Music was playing through phone or car without cable and then I hooked up the cable, it went to CarPlay and that was it, app just said waiting for activation. Never got a code on the screen.

Mine took about 2 days to activate after entering the VIN number. Dealer said it shouldn't take that long but it did.

I believe when you register it says it will take at least 24 hours before it can be activated.
