It fits good and seems to be well made. There are some "optional" steps in the instructions that I would recommend as it really cleans things up and just seems like the way it should be.
You have to cut a couple zip ties that they don't include the factory style connectors in the kit so you have to remove the factory clips and use some of your own zip ties.
I would shop around and pay less than AFE direct. RDP store was great and had a good price. The shipping delays weren't their fault and they are stand up people.

I guess let us know once you get some miles on it.
last question, does it come with a dry filter or what options did you get?

Or you can get the stage 3 intake from AFE for near 800 bucks. Lol
As for the stage 3 they can stick that $800 POS straight up their a**es.. haha pretty sure there is really no difference between the 2. Other than the ridiculous price ofcourse.
Ok so here is my 200 mile review.
The fit and finish is at least as good as oem, maybe better.
Install was ok. Wasn't horrible, but wasn't terrible easy. Instructions were ok but not great.
There is some intake noise and my exhaust is a bit louder. It seems like there is some more power there, but I have not dynoed and it's not a dramatic increase.
My fuel economy has improved a bit surprisingly. Maybe .2-.3 per gallon. Again, no hard data but I've been seeing better numbers for sure and actually managed my first trip over 20 mpg. (Flat, 61 mph)
RDP cut me a great price on this as well. I see AFE has raised the price again.
If I had to do it over, I'm not sure I'd do it again for the price. I didn't pay anywhere near the suggested retail, but I'd feel better about my purchase if it was maybe 50-75 cheaper than I paid.
The price on the AFE stage 3 intake is insane in comparison though. Ha.

Hey Everybody....so do you all think you will be modding your Raptor as soon as you get it, if so are you going to jump on the aFe cold air intake band wagon? Just looking for some input, RDP Store wants to put some packages for you Raptor guys. We would love for a local Raptor owner to stop buy to our workshop, we would gladly do a free custom Dyno tuning session with an SCT x4. High performance is what we do and would love to help an owner play with his new Raptor.
