The first gen Raptor was a great truck. It had a great forumla. The only downer on it was that it never did look quite right. Its awkward looking and no matter how people try to dress it up, it just never worked.THIS one works MUCH better.

However....the EB V6..what a shame.
But, I'm sure Ford has plenty of great recordings of a sweet sounding Roush exhausted 6.2 that they can simply pipe through the stereo speakers.
DOH!!

ECO BOOST Raptor....
LOL

Wait, awkward looking? Never worked? Man, you need to really look at your post and rethink what you actually said. How the truck looks awkward I have no clue. It's purpose built. And never worked huh, guess those sales numbers were so low the first time around that ford said screw it and let's throw some more money at a failing project.

I'd be interested to see one photoshopped in silver with ptm plastics to see how close to the Atlas concept the Raptor can be...

I really can't see ford slapping this new Eco in a raptor with anything less than 450hp. They have to compensate for "the lack of a v8" if you will. This may be my next truck depending on what the new SD's bring to the table, I think to get me away from my 15 powerstroke it's going to take atleast that 450hp and a different set of pipes out the rear, they look horrible in the show truck!!

I completely agree with you. Put that GT ecoboost in it.

Your answer to that statement is in what what you just wrote. GM.... lol. They would spend millions and still couldn't get out of a wet paper bag.

What mod do you do for 350 bucks that would make it scream?

Tuner.
By far the biggest bang for the buck.
So much gain in turbo charged stock motors with a simple and safe tune.

I absolutely love the people crying and freaking out over the eco. The raptor forums are cracking me up. One guy posted he does not care if the eco made 300 hp more then a v8 he only wants a v8. After calling this over a year ago and being told it would it would never happen even though I knew it was already in progress. The v8 butt hurt makes it so much better.
