There will not be a new Raptor in my future unless Ford steps up to the plate with a 5.0 or 6.2 option.
after having dusted more than a couple raptors in my eco boost version, i'm with you, but for a different reason. these new body style trucks look like a work truck. like an F-350. F-150's have always had their own body stye. more sleek. and everyone flocked to what I think was Fords best body design yet with the '10-14 raptor. This 2017 raptor has the worst of both. an ugly body and a tiny little V-6.

except for the fact that you havent driven the V-6 yet. with a tune and some bolt ons, it feels like a Class 1 buggy in the dirt. like a rally car. its amazing. so fast...

As a former Raptor owner... current Navigator Eco owner (wife's). I can't wait to own the new Raptor with the eco. I am sure it will be even more powerful than the Lincoln version of the ecoboost. 380hp and 460tq. The Navigator with 4.10's is a monster.

I guess to each his own on the looks. I love the new F150 and Raptor looks. Much better than the old one. However, the Super Dutys are ugly IMHO. And the new SDs are absolutely hideous.

You will never please everyone with a new vehicle design. I'm not big on the new Mustang body style. Convertible still looks nice, but don't like the hard top version. It may grow on me though.

V6 V8 who gives a crap, my V6 raptor will kick ur V8s ***** with a V6 ricer exhaust. This thing would easily put out an extra 100 hp with a 350 dollar tune. I can't wait

I would not go as far as 100 extra hp, but the tune will get you about 30-40hp. With that said, we will see how the new engine holds up offroad in the middle of nowhere. Vendors will probably start selling quick change spark plug kits to do in the deep woods.

My MPT tune claims 110hp increase on my 2015 3.5 Eco. Probably not whp though.

Will be interested to see what the Raptor can do. I just hope Ford does a 5.0eco. I would definitely buy one.
