Default Stroke 4.6?

Anyone stroke a 4.6? Or does everyone just swap to 5.4?

I kinda wanted to go a different route than the 5.4. I was thinking of a stroke and bore combination to get to a 5.0, combined with a trick flow top end kit and domed pistons to raise compression(with forged rods ofcourse). I'm probably going to pick up a core motor from a wrecker to strip down and send to a machine shop , around march I think. So I want to do some looking into if there is a stroker kit or anything before I decide on what size bore to get done. Being a core motor I was going to go minimum .010 over(depending on possible stroke) and a mild deck job along with .010 over on the crank journals.

If you want something special start with something big and improve on it. The only way to improve something small special is to get the newest inovations. The Flame-Spray v6 3.5 L and adapt it to fit. Let me know how you come out. I would like to hear one with a 4 speed winding thru the snow.

Check on the Mustang forums. Several 4.6 stroker options are available. I know a guy who had a 3v 4.6 'Stang stroked to 4.9 and TC.
