Default oil?

I have a 4.6l v8 triton what do yall recommend the best oil fer it would be.

Oh god... here comes this debate again.

This is usually a HUGE debate. Personally, I stick with Motorcraft 5W-20 and a Motorcraft filter. Its what's recomended.

Thats what I use as well.

Just buy a good qaulity oil/filter and stick to it. Changing it is way more important then what brand you buy or whether its dino or synthetic.

I use motorcraft for the filter, but motorcraft oil is really hard to find around here in regular parts stores. I usually use valvoline in 5W-20. I also add motorkote synthetic lube additive twice a year.
