o2 sensor

I need to change the o2 sensor on a 2000 f150 bank 1 sensor 1 it is in such a tight spot I cannot unplug it. Do I have to take the pipe lose.

To get at mine I had to pop the clip out of the back of the head with a screw driver and then zip tie the harness out of the way once I was done.
