I have a 97 f150 with a 4.6L .I have a new long block to put in it how do u prime the oil pump on it.

 

....never thought about it, but your question is valid. The oil pump is integrated with the front of the crank, so turning the crank to prime the pump is probably not wise let alone effective. I think I'd try tapping into the oil gallery at the pressure switch/sender and introduce a pressurised source of oil to fill the gallery from that point. That should get oil all through the system and back-flow the oil pump which should prime it.
