mis fire when cold only???
had my 05 5.4 for about 5 months now, on a cold start under 1/2+ throttle i will have a bad misfire and the truck goes no where. only mod is a magnaflow catback exhaust....
before this truck i had a 99 with the 5.4 and 212xxx miles that has a misfire but a light that showed a bad coil, however i have no engine light on and once it has been running it is fine at normal driving temp. (also i life in fl so by cold start i mean outside temp low 70's) what could cause this??

My 2006 with 83,000 miles just started doing this in the last month at idle where a cylinder just seems to miss. Usually after it warms up the idle goes back to smooth. I replaced the plugs and filters about 3k miles ago.
