Default Loud screeching when accelerate???

Need some help, car screeches when I initially start it and screeching gets louder when I accelerate. It eventually goes away after 5-10 minutes but it annoys the heck out of me. Ive replaced the serpentine and belt tensioner and kinda not sure what else to look for. The previous owner said he noticed the same thing only when it was wet outside which seems to most cases. ANY HELP??? Thanks.

Your accesory drivebelt may be slipping/worn out.

try listening for bearings on the serpentine belt drive system... that could also be the problem other than maybe your in cold wet weather?

You have to excuse me, im a nubbie at car terminology, is the accesorry drive belt the serpentine? If so brand new

I was able to spin of the pulleys and wasnt able to hear any grinding/schreeching...

i read somewhere online that these fords are prone to the serpentine belt slipping and the only way to correct this is to scrub pulleys with brillow pad to rough them up that way the serpentine wont slip...anyone hear of this????

Thanks for all the feedback and help

i have heard of this but not specific to our trucks. there is an easy test for this. go to the auto parts store, they sell a spray you can spray on the belt that makes it really sticky. start the motor drive around to make sure the belt is squealing. park the truck, while the motor is running lightly coat the belt (both sides, a couple second spray to each side is all it takes) with the spray. get back in and go for a drive. if the squeal stops, its the belt. if the squeal remains, its not the belt. this stuff is only good for about 15miles so if it turns out to be the belt, dont think the spray has fixed your issue, its just for diagnosing (even tho the can claims its a cure all).

hey everyone thanks for the replies.....long story short:

took off serpentine belt---> started up motor --> no screeching ---> cleaned all pullys with decreaser --> took some sand paper (1000 grit? not sure) roughed up the pully surfaces alittle --> new belt (gatorback) --> NO SCREECHING!!! (2 days plus now...and hopefully for a while)
