Default hp?

Anyone know some good ways to gain hp on a 1988 ford f150 with a stock 351w under a couple hundred bucks

That's a tough one. I believe you will need to switch over to the MAF system to be able to calibrate for any changes to air flow and fuel. You can always pick up a few hp with underdrive pulleys and electric fans. Should bank 30hp with the two.

Here's some more info. Again I don't know for sure about the MAF just thinking that because the 302 trucks were that way through 93. Gears will make a huge difference. Keep in mind the cam in that motor sucks. For a few hundred you could have a good cam, headers, and make some nice power.
