I have a 2008 F150, 5.4 with 90,000 miles. A few months ago the engine started producing this high wind noise when acclerating but it wouldn't do it all the time. Just every once in a while. It got so bad that the transmission started acting up and it completely went out. I have a new transmission now and the high wind noise came back and I then changed the fan clutch after doing some research. But, that high wind noise is still there but not all the time just after driving a long distance and on warm days. Any ideas on what this is from? The fan clutch is brand new.
