Hello and thanks to anyone who can help. I have a 2016 regular cab f150 with a non turbo 3.5 , I bought because it was to good of a deal to pass up. Throwing around the idea of getting a low mileage 5.0 truck motor to replace the 3.5 or if it would be more trouble then it's worth. Transmission should be interchangeable. Mostly worried about the ecm and programming tuning etc.

 

I don’t believe the 3.5 and 5.0 share transmission bolt patterns in any way.
