engine problems
i am having some problems with my 05 f150 5.4. it is throwing two codes p0340 and p3044. at times the truck has no power at all it wont even do a burnout anymore and it idles rough. i replaced the cam position sensor and they keep coming back. i don't know what to do and i don't want to take it back to the dealer. please help

Replace the alternator. I know it might not sound right but it is. The only real way to test it is to do an alternator ripple test with an osilliscope. 9 times out of 10 its the alternator throwing those codes. If you take it to the dealer they will tell you the same thing.
