engine build help
hi there,
im new to the forum. im working on a project build, it a 55 f100, im going with the old school look but modern drivetrain, would like to put truck engine in it so im going for the 5.4l. now i want some serious power since it is a hot rod style vehicle, id like to build a boss 290 that the aussies have. now from my understanding that is an iron block from a 5.4 with dohc heads and the dohc intake.
questions:
do i get a 2v or 3v triton or the dohc navi
for the heads do i go cobra or navi
and for the intake? does it mater?
then i wanna put the 6spd auto tranny to it, would that work
i hate to give you all these questions but i finally got the money to go further with my project and im getting impatient lol, wanna do it right and wanna do it now!
