I just bought a 2012 f150 XLT 5.0 and I was wondering what the best way to break in a new vehicle is as far as keeping the longevity of the engine. Ive heard some say baby it, others say drive normal and some say punch it!! Also how soon till i should have my oil changed. I was thinking maybe at the 1000 mile marker to get rid of any metal particulates that might be in the oil (even though i know it has an oil filter)
