"chipped" EEC-IV = worth it?
I've been researching all these "plug-in" chips for my 94' 5.0L 4R70W 2WD and have seen varying information.
Question:
Are these chips any good? What about the 'custom' tuned ones where you call in specs?
Full knowing the potential for OBDII programmers, I can't help but to think there must be some kind of advantage to them on OBDI.
Anyone using one? Anyone had a custom tune chip installed on their OBDI/EEC-IV truck?
Inquiring minds would like to know!
