Default Best/worst models

So I have owned rangers, and F250's but never the F-150, but now I am in the market for a F-150 in most likely in the 2006-2011 range. This truck will be driven fairly often mostly to work and to haul stuff. My biggest concern is the cam phaser issue. What years/models should I avoid/buy (or all they all bad/good)?

Thanks!

Go for the 2011 and don't worry about the cam phasers, get the 6 speed transmission too so it's a win win

not common with the 5.0's 2011 and up. 2004-2008 were the worst on the cam phaser issues. the 09-10 f150 5.4 is a very reliable engine. though the cam phaser issue is still there, it's not as high of probability as the 04-08 5.4
