I have a 04 s/c with the 3valve 5.4 in it with 160000 miles the truck has a miss and starts to shake once in awhile at a stoplight or stop but you touch the gas and it clears up did it for awhile without throwing a code but has now thrown a code saying one side the cam is advancing and the other side is retarting have replaced plugs and the cam sensors any ideas would be great thanks ryan

 

I feel your pain. I have a 08 S/C 5.4. I have been dealing with that since June of 2010. Have had it to ford numerous times and today FOrd told me they are aware of the issue but the have no repair for it.
