Default 6.2L Modular V8

Does anyone know any detailed specs on the 6.2LEngine coming out? Is it built anything like the 1st Generation 4.6 and 5.4 2valve
('97-'03) engines being that the 6.2 is a 2valve engine? 411 hp right? Why would the new 5.0L 302 be 412? Lol, thats 1 hp difference. Anyway, i was considering years down the road maybe swaping out my '02 5.4 for a 6.2 and would probably need the new computer to go with it.

I think Ford is coming around and taking over Dodge and GM's power on the streets, because Ford can afford it. Hell yea, Ford all the way!

I have driven a few at work and to be honest I dont know the exact specs on them only that they are right around the 400 horse mark and have gobs and gobs of torque. The application for them is the 2011 raptors where they are paired up with a mean set of 4:11 gears and a rear locker. They are 3 valve engines and basically from my understanding a 5.4 stroked and poked to a 6.2 with a little more hair on the peaches

Agreed. Although they are available in the Raptor they are also going to be available in the new Super Duty trucks, that's the mainstay, it's just a bonus being available in the Raptor.

NOTE: the "new" 5.0 is just a stroked 4.6 - not a REAL 5.0

Yea they have them in the superduty's also which is definitely a good set up also. As far as a video goes I have a couple and they do sound pretty meaty. If I put one on you tube I would probably get fired the next day lol. I may put some up in my personal profile if that is possible.
