Default 5.4 knocks need help

i have a 2002 f150 with a 5.4 and i have what sounds like a knock coming from the passenger side rear of my motor. the knock is just on startup and goes away when the truck warms up. it came on suddenly, the truck was fine then i hauled a trailer to a swap meet and when i started the truck to leave this knock was suddenly there. is there a part in that particular location that is known for going bad? i have heard something about cam phases, could this be my issue? is there a chain back there that drives the oil pump that i should be worried about? i have put 2000 miles on the truck since this knock appeared and it hasnt gotten any better or worse nor has it changed its behavior. please fill me in if anyone knows anything.

If u let the oil level get low it will starve the cams and burn them up pill the valve covers and inspect the cam cap at the phaser if there scored pull the oil pan and check the connecting rod caps. If the scored ur gunna need a long block due to metal contamination. I see this problem at least twice a week

It would the rod bearing spinning an the main bearings also check for end play bc the thrust washer will fall out and won't allow the oil pump to turn which would be the case if u change ur oil regularly I work on fords all day and those are the main things I find start with dropping the oil pan it's easy to do and will tell u the most
