I'm sorry, .....I work in Chicagoland 3 hours from home for a week or two at a time and haven't been online to see the follow ups.

The mechanic said on the phone something about a timing chain failure and several rods that caused a bunch of damage. I'm not a mechanic so I didn't ask a lot of questions to get an understanding of what exactly happened like I probably should have.

In any case, I'll have a new motor soon and my company is now paying for it. Life is good.

Time to change my screen name........

I haven't heard of any timming chain issues, must have been a fluke. That cool your job is paying for it.
