Accidental thread or not, I've got a 93 2wd with a 300 and I agree with you! It's never let me down in a sticky situation!

 

I'd just like to say, the 300 was Ford's premier heavy haul engine back in the 60's when it debuted. If geared right, 20,000 lbs is easily achievable. I know plenty of guys who out pull the 5.4 on the sleds with 300's.
