300 I6......what's your milleage, what's your take on this legendary engine???

Rock solid
I think the L6 300/4.9 is as solid a small block work engine as ANYONE has ever made. V8 torque in 6-cylinder trim. I do wish Ford had put that engine into Bronco II's and Rangers. My '94 F150 EFI is at 212k miles and still using it to haul stuff on the interstate ("expressway" for you Northerners).
Being a guy that can work on carbureted engines and still learning about EFI I am jealous about my brother-in-law's '78 F150. Over the last couple of years I've bought him a bunch of parts (Christmas/Birthday gifts) that he had a shop put on for him last year while he was deployed.
I don't know what kind of cam & lifter kit he bought, but I gave him:
Offenhauser 4-bbl intake manifold
Carter AFB Competition 4-bbl carb (he rebuilt it, came off my 67 Mustang)
competition exhaust manifold (don't remember what kind it was now)
He hasn't had it dyno'ed yet, but I'm sure he'll be cranking a ton of torque and HP out of that motor.

a 33/12.50r15 thats actually bigger than a 265/70 or 75r15, judging from the pics of the truck you have, they look like a 315-325/75/15, ive had 31/10.50r15s on my ol 95 300 i6 for years, and a 31/10.50 is the equivalent of a 245/75r15. not trying to be a jack***** or anything but ive worked tires for 3 years. so please dont take any offense to my statement or think im calling you a liar, just stating the knowledge i know.

i know, i was just throwing the comparison in there, u said they were a 235...but they are nowhere near as small as a 235, i have 2 of those on the front of my truck, and they are 1/4 the size of your tires. altho, overall bad***** truck man, looks really good.
