Default 2013 Eco shutter

I have a 2013 4 door with a 157 in wheel base. This truck has less than 3800 miles on it. . I am experiencing a shutter when starting from a standing stop empty and a very noticeable shutter when pulling a trailer and starting from a stop. I have had the truck back to the dealer and have contacted Ford. Was told that this is a condition with the 157 in wheel base and that is a result of the large gas tank and the two piece drive shaft. Any one having this problem and an answer.
Glenn

Look up axle wrap. Can't say for sure but I think your symptoms match what others have reported.

My 2011 did that and the driveshaft yoke that goes into the back of the tranny had to be "lubed" up took care of the problem. Its supposed to slide easily in and out a bit with the changes in ride height but was sticking.

Hey Scrounger,

Has your dealer been able to give you any kind of feedback yet? Please let me know as soon as you hear anything so I can assess how to help. Also, what's the odometer reading on the truck?
