Default is there such thing as a 1/3?

Im about to pick up a new 2017 platinum f150 and want to lower the front just a bit and level out the back. I would love to do just a small drop with some 24's so i can still drive day to day without worrying about my ****ty roads. is there such thing as a 1/3 drop?

I lowered the rear of mine 3" by having the stock springs de-arched. Rides like stock, no flip-kit hassles.

For the front, I used drop collars on Bilsteins, but only got 1/2". For me, 1 1/2" would be ideal. You can get 1" with BellTech shocks, but my experience with that company in other applications, plus what I've read on this forum and others, pretty much makes that option a non-starter. Will likely cut the stock springs half-a-coil.

2WD or 4WD? If it's 4wd, you can swap to 2wd struts for about a 1" drop in the front.

Great option for 1" in the front. As for the back, Ford Performance lowering shackles along with removing the rear block will get him real close to a 1/3 drop.

Exactly that. A specialty spring shop will take arch out of the springs, flattening them out and lowering the ride height. I had mine done at Deaver in SoCal; in addition to custom work, they manufacture a lot of the aftermarket lift-kit springs marketed under various brands. I asked for 3", and that's what I got, right on the money.

Dearching is a bit excessive for a 4wd truck. Like said earlier, remove the block and a set of 2” drop shackles and you’re done in the back.

There are much better options than de-arching a leaf spring.

Yeah the de arching does sound like a big commitment and id like the option to go back to stock. Probably going to go with the 2wd struts and the shackles. Baby steps lol I read every thread about your truck UNBROKEN and thats my dream set up but we get nasty winters and the snow piles up so im worried about getting stuck
