Slightly lower options
I have a 2017 Ford F150 platinum 4x4.which way would be the easiest and of course the most affordable to lower it? It's factory ride height in front and just removed blocks in the rear. I would like to lower the front 1/2 inch or 1 inch and rear 1 inch or 1 1/2 maybe 2 inches. Any options? I will be running 26x10 wheels with 305/30/26 tires. Thanks
You could piece this together very easily. If you're wanting to lower the rear 2" in addition to what you got from removing your blocks, the best option is to get true 2" MaxTrac or 1.5" Ground Force lowering shackles. Those are easy to install yourself but you will most likely need pinion shims to take care of vibrations that you get from 20-30mph. The GF 1.5" drop shackles + rear block removal is how the Ground Force or Ford Performance lowering kit that Tenx posted above net their 2.5" drop.
For the front, if you're only wanting it dropped 1/2"-1", you will probably just want to get lowering struts. Belltech (part #25007) makes replacement struts that allow you to lower in half inch increments down to - 2". There's really no easy way to lower the front w/o pulling the strut assembly out.

Just FYI 2” rear shackles are likely going to require notching some of the bed support.
I mention that because you said easiest and most affordable.....cutting bed support isn’t necessarily difficult, but it’s something that will be required.
IMO, if you want easiest and most affordable, as mentioned there’s the ford racing/ground force kit. 1.5 front via lowering springs, 2.5 rear via combo of rear block removal and 1” shackles. So, expect 1.5 lower front, and 1” lower rear, then you currently have. Is it most cost effective, not necessarily, but it’s backed by Ford Racing and can be done at local dealer (potential for some warranty/piece of mind/etc, if that’s important to you)
Lots of pics available on this forum. IMO, best description of the FR/GF from what I’ve seen in pics, is basically same rake as original 4x4 stance....just lowered more.
(Yes I realize that the math doesn’t add up, but it rarely does on these vehicles).
I’ve done a lot of research personally, and yes there are other options too (although more limited because you have 4WD)....but from what you described I’d prolly do the FR/GF and call it a day as long as you like the look/rake/stance
Edit: I saw that you mentioned going to 26” wheels. I’m not sure what kind of stance you’re looking for, but the FR/GF with 26” wheels is prolly gonna look pretty tall still
