Noobie at drops

http://lafayette.craigslist.org/pts/4294068331.html This kit is for sale locally and i can steal the kit and slam bags from him for $350-400. Few concerns after talking with the seller. I already plan on getting all new hardware, u bolts, and balljoints. He mentioned a driveline vibe at 55mph, however he had the kit on a 4wd so 1pc driveshaft. Is a carrier bearing spacer necessary for my '13 fx2 screw? Pinion shims? I see 6* being used commonly.
For both the kit and bags, is any cutting necessary? I know about the driver side leaf spring bolt. Anyone know the size off hand?
He had the compressor run along the frame rail with the fill fitting run back to the bumper. Typical install i assume. I rarely tow, if anything, a small 8-12ft trailer. So simplicity of the install would air shocks be an easier option? How do they compare to slambags as far as ride quality?

not cutting for the drop kit itself.
bearing carrier need cutting(grinder) and drilling.
slam air bag need drilling.
for the bolt: just get one from your dealer it's like 5$.(I'ved cut both of them on my 07 but don't remember the exact reason )

1) used a arms. I would get the bushing it for both a arms and new balljoints that runs about $145 dollars
2) the rear it is adjustable on pinion angle so you should be able to dial it in.

Tony, i also may need the dimensions for the u-bolts. He said the djm bolts were crap. Id get a set custom bent by a spring shop locally. As well as a hardware master list would be helpful.

Doesnt look like 2k miles at all. I NEVER use balljoints and bushings on any kit a customer brings in to me to install. Not worth the hassle if something goes wrong.
As for u bolts ive seen people zip them on adn cross thread them from the first thread and then they blame eithe rbelltech or djm. Not their fault. You can find the parts list on djms site I done have the pdf in front of me.
also ask him to get the part number from the rear belltech shocks
