Default My new Platinum down on 24's

Got the McGaughys 2/4 drop, 24's and tires on yesterday. I think I'm gonna take the front down another 1/2"...it looks high to me but it's an easy fix. Tomorrow I'll fix Ford's crooked *** front bumper but it's a good start. It's flooding down here...hopefully she'll get her first bath by next week. lol

How are you going to lower the front a lil more? Curious as I have the same kit, not installed yet, and I have the Belltech struts/ shocks. Fronts are adjustable by removing/adding aluminum rings. I was hoping that was a way for me to lower mine a lil more but wasn't sure....

I have the OEM struts on it for now. I'm just gonna knock 1/4 of a coil off the top of the spring...should get me where I wanna be and that little bit won't affect anything. The spring will still seat just fine.

I have removed 1/2 a coil many times, never an issue.

How much drop did 1/2 a coil net?

On my superduty about an inch and a half, on my focus just an inch. Alignment was never a issue.

Ahhh...I thought you meant coils on an F150. If history holds true, 1/4 coil should be right at 1/2". Guess I'll find out. lol
