Cool My FX2 Drop.

Hey guy's! Posting my truck here for the first time! Current Set-up is Belltech 3 inch drop in front and DJM 4 Inch Flip in Rear. Soon to be 5 in rear this week...to make it have a even level drop I hope! Onto the Pics....

Hope this Helps some with the height diffrences of each drop. as I asked for some and no one really posted. so I posted my stages. Hope the last stage is perfect! LOL. I also noticed that it seems maybe the Eco-Boost trucks come with a 3 leaf rear spring and my 5.0 has 4. Cause a buddy of mines with the exact truck just has an Eco-Boost. and his rear sits lower than mine. and we both have a 4 inch flip. so I think that's one difference in drops for the 5.0 and Eco. Which is weird. LOL.

Stock height when I bout it new!

UPDATE! got the 5 Inch FLip Installed. I had the DJM 4...just had to take out the front spring Lifting hangers that I thought was a really crappy design! took those out and all we had to do was change out the rear shackles. and Viola! 5 inch drop. sits pretty even! thoin the front fender wells are a bit bigger than the rears. cause sometimes the back looks lower! LOL. and to top it off. the Low speed Vibe I had is mostly gone! Just get a very very slight Judder under really light gas...like in traffic. I can feel it when it shifts to 2nd gear. other than that I'm so Happy that damn vibe is gone! and my truck looks even better now! LOL

Here's the Pic now with DJM 5 inch Flip kit.

Looks really good! Any wheel plans or side-step removal in the future?

Thnnx Man! Not sure on wheels yet. It's so hard to pick the right one! Was trying to look for the 08 Style Harley 22's. But they are so hard to find! As for the Steps. Not sure yet. I kinda like having them. Plus it helps my parents get into my truck. so they may stay for now. Plus I use them to wipe the roof. Very handy for me. LOL

Thank you also bro! Been following your build and I started my build cause of you! you truck looks dope bro! I may add 1 inch spacers to my rims soon. till I can find the factory Harley 22's or an aftermarket wheel that I like. LOL. But I may change out the rear gears soon also. the 3.31's are a dog. the sound of 3.55 or 3.73's sounds good right now! LOL. What's the plans for your truck next?

Truck looks good, but to me the front needs to drop down another half inch. Even though these trucks have a 2" rake it still always looks higher in the front due to the wheel wells. I plan to go with DJM 2" arms and belltech shocks to go 3.5" or 4" of drop in the front to level it out.

I think the belltech shocks will do 3.5" of drop in the front on the 09 and up models so if you still have a spacer on the shock body you could drop it some more.

thnx bro! Yea I still have a small spacer on the front struts. I can go to 3.5. But My alignment is dead on right now at 3. So I'm stuck on doing the 3.5 for the front or buying the Slam Air Bag kit for the rear to raise it a bit. LOL. Decisions....Decisions!

You bet man. I can make your decision easy for you. Go with the air bags. It will give you a few inches of lift, prevent wheel hop and any sag if you are towing or throwing anything in the bed. That is the exact setup I am working on as well. I tow a 5th wheel and without air I would be sitting on the axel.
