Default lowered front hitting plastic

Just got my truck lowered 3.5 in front with djm kit. Love the way it looks but it hits, rubs the inside plastic a lot. Wondering if stiffer struts would stop this from happening are what could be my options with out having to raise it .5 with belltech struts.

What about just trimming the plastic a little to where it won't rub?

Well its not rubbing anything in the side parts the tires are perfectly centered inside. its rubbing the top when hitting dips on streets and freeway. Just don't know if everyone has this problem when they lowered their trucks.

I know there are others that drive around with it rubbing as much as yours is and they keep it that way because they like the look. If it is too much to deal with, you may want to raise it up half an inch like Mysterman suggested.

How tall are your tire?

mine are 32" tall and they rub a bit over bump.
Enough than I have remove the plastic inner fender on the right side. (tear it appart first on a big pothole ) the left side is still on.
I can't try to take an exit ramp too fast or it will rub all the way through.
Planning to redo the inner fender completly anyways (laying frame this winter)
