Looking for the best bolt on 2'' Drop Shackles for 2018-2019
#32
During normal driving the shackle moves toward the rear and would only hit if I really got the back of the truck in the air.
The third picture makes it look closer than it is and it would hit on the bottom of the support if it did hit.

So what's the general consensus here? Maxtrac, Crown, other? I removed my rear block when I first got the truck but I still have a ton of rake. Need to swap out my U-bolts for the shorter 2wd ones so I'd like to just add shackles, shim at the same time and be done with it.
I was about to try the cheaper, generic 13-4200 shackles but I just noticed the bushing design seems off from the others? Wondering if that will cause any issues? Here's pics for comparison.
13-4200

Another Amazon find, odd bushings too it looks like?

Bringing this discussion back...
Wanting to do a true 2" rear drop only. Would prefer not to cut/notch but will if needed. Currently have 22" Mavericks on 305/45/22.

Following. Two things I'd like to know.
1.What's involved in notching the crossmember? Cutting? "Massage" with a hammer?
2. Shims needed? Not needed? If so how many degree shim?
