Default Geezer help lowering

Just purchased a '20 F150 3.3L, 2wd, regular cab, short bed. Suggestions on lowering truck a little for better access with no problems. Wanted to use the Ford kit, M-3000-H4A, but it's for the supercab & crewcab (heavier trucks).
Any help would be appreciated, Steve

If you don’t want to do any bed support trimming, you can get 1.5” drop shackles from Ford Performance aka Ground Force. If you want to go a little lower and don’t mind a little bed support trimming, you can get 2” shackles from Maxtrac, DJM, or Crown.

Up front, you can pick up some lowering struts and go anywhere from 1-2”. Id say figure out your rear situation first and then decide how low you want to go up front.

Jbone36, I think that I want to lower the rear more than 1.5" (not much). Want to remove maybe half of the rake. The thoughts of "trimming some bed support" on a truck that's two weeks old isn't something I want to do right now. One thing for sure is I don't want to go to far or screw this up. Figure someone has already invented this wheel. I appreciate your input and will look into your suggestions

The trimming sounds bad, I know. I used to feel that way, but on the grand scheme of things, it's something that you'll most definitely never have an issue with unless you are hauling heavy cargo frequently. Just a little cut off wheel and a 4-ish inch section removed. Basically, if you want anything beyond a 1.5" drop and you do not want to cut your bed, you will have to go with a flip kit, most likely a 4".

This is what a 2" drop shackle looks like and gives you an idea of the area you would have to notch out for clearance.

I lowered my 2016 with DJM shackles, removed the rear blocks, and used 2WD struts up front, 2WD shocks out back. Yes, cut the bed supports... I had the truck about 2 weeks before doing this. I kept the stock wheels, and it looks sweet. Definitely easier to get in the bed. Alignment shop had no issues either.

I don't have rear blocks on my truck. Do you know how that will effect the lowering process will be without rear blocks? Can you give me details on where you got your parts? How much did it lower your truck, pictures. Thanks for the help
