Yeah it's not near as expensive as most people think for parts to bag something. It's the labor to pay someone that costs.

500$ lol good luck on a 150.

2K on the 2003: maybe if you built your own bracket and link, get used air management.

If you are bragging about how cheap a truck was bagged for then post pics of the work bc that tells the real story.

Bagged for $2000 is quite impresive.

I have a bagged 2001 GMC 2500. Built the links, was given a compressor, got the tank at a killer deal, and still have atlest $2000 into it. The truck isn't finished and I don't have a switch box yet or any gages. That is another few $100.

Hell in my Tahoe I have the rear bagged and have around $600. That is one switch, small 1 gal tank and the truck is factory 4 link.

Doing the work your self and having atleast some steel to use will help the cost. On my 2500 I only had to buy the link bars and had scrap steel to build almost everything else. If you buy a link kit it will include everything typicaly but I would guess they are around $2000 alone.

Bagging a truck for $2000 isn't going to be done by everyone and it is going to be hacked as hell or lots of parts are free or extreamly cheap. That simple.

I have personally built an S10, Dodge 1500, 68 C10 and have helped in many other builds. I built my Dodge for around $2000 (air ride only) but you have to look around for the best deals it helps to get on air ride forums and try to go in on group buys. I was in a truck club so a lot of time we would get together with other clubs and buy in bulk. Not sure about Fords but with the Dodge no one makes bolt in kits so I had to fabricate almost every thing. As for using nitrogen it does make your truck hop up faster usually used for guys that want to bounce there truck off the ground but like some one said compressors and a couple of tanks is the best way to go.You never have to worry about running out in the middle of no where.
