Question, adding a set a drop shackles to my 2013 platinum. Was going to go with the 3 inch option on the shackle my question is should I still take out the factory re-block or do you guys think it will give it a squad real look instead of an all-around leveled look?
I'm far from an expert here, but I would suggest removing the block and finding an appropriately sized lowering shackle afterward. Dont know how different your rake is vs the 15+ trucks, but I have a 1.5" shackle and removed the block and in some angles it looks almost like the front is higher which I'm not a fan of. I plan on installing 2wd Bilsteins in front to help bring it down an inch, as I like having a slightly raked appearance due to that and fact that i do tow occasionally.

^^^This^^^ Remove the block, measure then order shackle you need. My '17 Ext Cab looked pretty good with just the block removed, my '21 RCSB FX4 needed a 2" shackle and the blocks remove to get level.
