front and rear? what size tires on it?

stock truck is 37-37.5 front and rear 38-39 stock

So you got a 8 inch drop in front and 9-10 in rear?

Just trying to understand it because ive never seen a 3/5 kit drop a truck 8/10

Only the front. Haven't lowered the rear, except for the de-arched leafs and drop shackle it has. Gonna work on that now.

Sorry I'm a new to truck terms so not sure what "fender lip" is. Measurement I gave was from the ground to the wheel well lip on front wheels. Are you talking about ground to front bumper lip, or what???

I used the springs that came with the 908sp kit, 2in springs I was told, and installed drop struts with only one 16mm ring and one 8mm ring so that's a 3 1/2in drop, right??

the front springs are 2-3 inch drop so if you didnt use spacers thats a 3 inch drop (ones that come with the spring kit)

for 04-08
09 you need 3 16mm spacers per side that would put it at stock height but you used the 3 inch drop spring so 3 inch drop.

if you used the 16 and 8mm ring that means you have a 1.5 drop (04-09) plus the 3 inch drop spring which is a 4.5 drop in front.

in rear the 908sp is a 5.5 inch flip kit so rear will still sit higher. You can always add shackles to make it come down more if needed and notch it.

4.5in drop in the front?!?!?! That's effing crazy, lmao!!! But I love it. I really really hope I can stay with that.

I know I had asked, not sure if it was you Tony, for a 3in spring for my 06 and was told Belltech only made a 2in spring for my truck.

Since I needed new springs and wanted a 3in drop I went with the 908kit.

the spring is a 3 inch drop spring but the spacer they include makes it 2.

If you did no spacer on the spring but only spacer on the drop struts you have a 4.5 drop. Drop the flip kit in and get ready to go lower in rear lol

Default Started the flip kit today..

No pics...sorry.
Everything started out ok, step by step, smooth sailing. But then got to the removal of the driver side shock top bolt removal. That's the one that has to be cut due to the gas tank. I had bought one of those grinder/metal cutter things (sorry, I'm effing burnt) but didn't have a wide enough blade/disc to access the bolt. So I had to use a freaking small hack saw, ya it kicked my *****.

Plus the jack I had that was holding up the axle had rollers and started freaking moving around and the drive shaft fell out of the trans side. Luckily no damage.

Finally put new leafs in place. Tony from Belltech recommended installing it without their lifting shackle since my front end was so low, but I couldn't get the rear leaf in place so I had to add the lifting shackle and it finally fit.

Went on the add the SP shocks and as I was about to lower realized the freaking drive shaft was still on the floor on the trans side, ugh...It was already dark out at this point so I just left it at that for now.

Will I be able to remount drive shaft when I add the trans spacer or will I have to remove rear suspension again??

This flip kit install, mainly cuz of the manual cutting of the bolt by gas tank, has really been hard. MAJOR props to all who do this on their own.

Will follow up tomorrow, Homies.

the factory shackle should have fit. Once you do them for 8 years you get the hang of it fast lol

The rear oem shackle wasn't on the rear leafs, it was the drop shackle that, that the guy that had lowered my truck before used, I dont know the size but it's adjustable so I'm thinking like a 2in or something so maybe I'll reinstall that one if it has too much of a rake with Belltech's 1in shackle.

Tony, where am I with the drive shaft, will have to remove the rear suspension or will I be able to put the drive shaft back in when I add the trans spacer?? Does the drive shaft just slide back in or does it have to go in a certain way? I'm asking cuz like I said it fell off so I'm not sure.
