Belltech lowering kit 1002sp
I have the 1002sp kit but I haven't installed it yet. I have a 2020 4wd crew. I'm going to remove the spacer block to give me a little bit more drop in the back. I don't want to use a flip kit. Anybody used this yet?
i intend to check the pinion angle before and after. Thanks

For several reasons, I would highly suggest returning that kit and going a-la-carte. For one, those rear shackles are only 1" shackles. They advertise it as a 2" rear drop for 4wd trucks only because they take the factory lift block removal into account. For two, those low end Belltech shocks / struts are junk and you will be replacing them within 2 years guaranteed. Thirdly, you don't need new rear shocks with that rear drop.
My suggestions:
FRONT END- Pick up some Ford 2wd struts and swap them for your 4wd struts. That will give you about 1.5" of drop and will align / ride perfectly. If you were only wanting about a 1" drop up front, you could pick up some 1" lowering springs from Maxtrac and use them with your factory 4wd struts. OR if you were dead set on lowering struts, pony up and buy the Belltech adjustable coilovers.
REAR END - Several companies make 1.5" and 2" lowering shackles (same concept as your Belltech kit). Maxtrac, DJM, Ground Force (1.5" only) and Crown to name the most popular ones. If you're buying a true 2" lowering shackle, you will be required to notch out a small section of the the aluminum bed support cross member. This is easy (use a dremmel tool) and will cause no issues unless you are a frequent hauler of heavy loads. If you go w/ the 1.5" shackle, you won't need to do any trimming of the bed support. If you remove the factory block, it will set you between 2.75 - 3.25" of rear drop. In reality, it will probably be about 1/2" less than advertised.

You say the one strut is junk but the one with coil over is better does someone else build those for bell I would think they all have the same internals ,doesn't seem like they would have better parts for one and cheap parts in another,I bet its same seals and all internally
