I have a 2020 F150 Lariat RWD: I had Maxtrac front adjustable struts and had them set for a 2" drop with a 4" rear Maxtrac flip. I really didn't like the ride with the struts. So I changed them out with a Belltech 2" drop spindle (2352) and I went back with my factory front struts. What a HUGE difference with the ride, it rides so much smoother and is back to a factory ride. I saw a lot of comments questioning about the lower ball joint being cut. I have 20" Ford Factory Wheels and did have to trim the lower ball joint stud, but I only had to trim the solid stud and not any of the threads. I was able to use the full nut on the lower ball joint. The pro with Bell tech drop spindle I was able to use the brake dust shield vs Maxtrac you have to remove the dust shield. I'm also replaced my rear maxtrac shocks with KYB Shocks (KG54230). I'm attaching some photos of the lower ball joint stud showing how much needed to be trimmed.

I also bought the Belltech 2" drop spindles AND have the BT drop front strut thinking I might go with the 4" drop and do the Crown Flip kit in the rear. So do you feel that the strut is better or what made the ride better going back to the stock struts over the Belltech struts? I like to Drag Race and already bought the Firestone air bag kit which is NOT for a truck with the rear axle flipped. I was about to send the Heavy Metal drop spindles back an stay with my drop struts and not do the flip in the rear just yet allowing me to use my Bags also. Right at 3 years I have wanted to lower the truck and knocked the rear diff out of it last summer and insurance sent a check so the truck is free at the moment with 21k miles. Anyone in the Middle Tn area in a Dropped trucks? I love the look but I run the roads and this is my Daily. I need a ride in a lowered truck so I can make the call soon. Pulling my Bent 8.8 super Diff today! Nice Truck. GG in Tnj

I have a Supercab and it looks like I have the same parts except for the front struts, I have the BT lowering struts set at 2" drop and I have the BT 2" spindles. I will put up Coilovers later down the road if I need them and this look is what I am after so I might as well go low!

I am just finishing the lowering of my 2018 SuperCab this morning. Drivers side is jacked up in this pic but I will test drive it shortly. Running 22" 9.5 wide rims & 305/45/22 Lexani's on all four corners but may have to go down a size or two. Up front I stayed true to Belltech with the 2" spindles (Heavy) & BT struts for another 2" to start out. Rear I used Crown's 6" flip kit which stated "no shims needed" but we shall see. I had 2" rear shackles and had a slight vibration and hope I got rid of it. I have the "add a leaf" to raise the rear if needed. Currently running stock rear shackles with the kit. Laying in the driveway installing the Diff is rough at 62 years old but I got it done finally.
Glad to hear the KYB Shocks (KG54230) worked well for you since I had picked them up to use myself. KYB is a name you can trust and they bolted up with a slight mod since they were a little wide for our mounts. RWD truck so no blocks & I started at 36" front & 39" rear and It looks like I will end up with 32" front / 33" rear from the ground to the flair. I have air bag kits but not for the flipped setup but I will figure it out. Only concern is the fact that I have around 6" or less between the frame and the diff. This is the look I wanted & could not have pulled it off without the help of the forum. Your trucks have inspired me and look amazing! My truck has been down for a year due to knocking the Diff out of it last June but insurance sent a check that not only covered my truck but also the parts for lowering. I LOVE Free Stuff! 20k miles on the 2.7 so it's not even broken in yet. I just hope it rides as good as it looks! THANKS to Everyone for the help. First time taking on such a job but it was well worth it.
