I'm looking to get a set of 22's for my 2016 F150 RWD. I got a good deal on a used 3/5 Max Trac lowering kit and it states it needs a 22" wheel (I currently have 20's). There's a guy in the area selling a nice set of 22" F150/Expedition limited wheels with 285/45/22 tires on fb marketplace. For reference, the wheels are exactly like the ebay ad below which shows the offset, and I have uploaded an image of the wheels and my truck.

I searched the forums here as well as the internet and can't find any lowered 150's running these, or even other wheels with the same offset (44 according to the listing). I would like to see how they look, and make sure they will fit when I lower the truck.

MaxTrac claims that the OEM 20's will work but usually require trimming the lower ball joint stud and possibly using the thin nut that they provide as a replacement. They also say that OEM 22's have been reported as not working. I'd be surprised if they truly didn't, but it would depend on how the inside of the rim is built. Running a 1.25" to 1.5" set of spacers might also be an option to make the Expedition wheels work, and considering that their OEM offset keeps them tucked in a bit they would probably look better with the spacers.

I have the 2" drop spindles on my 2016 2wd running a Niche 22x9.5 (30mm offset) wheel and had plenty of clearance to not trim the lower stud and reuse the original nuts.
