Default Add a leaf for flip kit

My 2017 I did the Belltech rear flip kit. I couldn’t do the leaf hanger in front because clearance issues with my Caltrac bars. I’d like to get about an inch of lift. I see one of the flip kits offered by Crown comes with an add a leaf. My thinking is the add a leaf doesn’t allow the leaf to sag as much thus giving a little more lift. Is this correct ?I’m not a suspension guy so any help would be great.

Correct. I did the Tuff Country add a leafs and it lifted it about 2 inches or more. I did everything at once so hard to say the exact amount it raised the back. It also made the truck ride rough with just me in the truck. Put some weight in the back or have a few people in the truck and it rides fine.
I'd add bags or look for a longer add a leaf. I am planning this winter to remove my add a leaf and do a bag setup. I tow my boat a lot during the summer so even with the add a leaf the truck sags in the back with the boat hooked up. I want it to ride level all the time. Go-On3 (member on here) is coming up with a bag setup, and I think that is the way I am going to go.

Spent all weekend looking up bag set ups. Go on 3 has an amazing set up. I’d take that in a heartbeat. I was checking out Bwoody but they don’t have any in stock.
