Default 3/5 not enough

So we all know DJM makes a descent lowering kit for my 1994 f150 xl,
but thats just not low enough. I'm looking for more of like a 5/7.
anyone on here know how to make that happen? Preferably with a kit of some sort and no bagging.

Thanx for all input

well that low and youd have to c-notch the rear and you could take out some leaf springs to get that extra 2 inchs in the rear
the front im not sure on going lower

I think with that much drop you need special Drop I-Beams... a 3/5 won't give you that issue I think

I guess il just go with a 3/5 in favor of not having to change much of the truck around.
Thanx guys. So I saw djm had a few options to get into that ride height. Which one would Suit the truck and the wallet best?

with 3 inch front drop the i beams are needed
and in the back it really depends on price i think you can do the flip kit or you may be able to get 5 in the rear with new shackles and hangers

im working on becoming a DJM/BElltech direct vendor here now. done tone of your trucks since 98. Give me a few hours to set up a account and pretty much mike at djm or chris at belltech beat anyones prices and i pass the saving onto the members.

so you have a 94 xlt 150
you could go with the djm front i beams and 1 inch springs for 4 inches. now in rear what ive been doing is a flip kit for 5 inches but you can add the shackles for either a 6 or 7 inch drop in rear.

Any other questions just shoot.

yes on any truck ive done more than 5 inch rear drop you should notch the frame if you want any ride comfort. Ive done well over 130 f150s from 1997 to now in your body style (including mine) and anything over 5 inches I tell the customers notch is necessary

ive had about 3 trucks with the djm rear notch get hit from behind and 1 was totaled and the notch area was fine no cracks. FOr the belltech i had 1 truck that was hit from behind and totaled also and frame by notch was still fine no warping or cracked around the notch.

The djm or belltech notches are more than strong enough to take the abuse you dont need to worry about any frame cracking after you notch it or anything like that.
