Very nice, great job with it. I think color matching the bumpers would look even better..

Looks great! I think it would look even better with PTM bumpers and handles.

Thank you. I've been looking at it the past few days and have to agree that color matching at least the bumpers is the right thing to do. I was hoping the chrome tint on the wheels would tie it together, but the bumpers just sort of stand out. I will stop at the local body shop and get a quote on painting them. I can remove them myself which should save some money.

IHC 3/5 ride quality kit which I installed. I'm not pleased with the ride the rear shocks provide and have a set of the Fox 2.0's on order now.
Did these shocks make a difference? I’m planning to use this kit when my truck gets delivered and I will buy these shocks from the beginning if needed.
thanks for the info.

I'm pleased with them over the cheaper pro comp shocks that came with the kit. In addition, the Fox shocks come with the correct bushing sleeves where as the Pro Comp bushing sleeves do not really fit the stock mounting locations well. I brought this to IHC's attention and they assured me they were correct. The Pro Comps will work if you don't mind smashing down the stock mounting tabs on your truck to get them tight.

Overall I'm pleased with how it rides but do have a few things I need to address. First, I've decided to totally remove the stock front active air dam setup. Trimming it wasn't enough and it still drags when hitting dips while on the freeway. Second, the back will bottom out on big dips in the road or pot holes. I plan to put either airbags or possibly a hydraulic bump stop in the rear.

I believe it actually rides better than stock now besides the bottoming that happens from time to time. Not very often but it does happen.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your truck. I don’t have near the number of miles you have, and all of mine have been in town so far, but I haven’t had any of the rubbing or bottoming issues yet.

Our kits are from the same manufacturer but they use different shocks and struts so there might be changes in performance characteristics there. I will be watching your thread to see if you go the hydraulic bump stop route. I would really like to see where you get those from and what the install is like.

I’m still considering the air bag helper kit as I have a boat to tow. Otherwise I’m really digging what IHC has to offer.

Thanks for sharing and keep feeding us as much info as you can. It really helps!
